LabVIEW Programmer -- Self Bilateral Manipulator System
 
Objective :   To develop a manipulator system that can help patients to rehabilitate their affected arm by imitating the action of other healthy arm.
     
Story : Global-G Pte Ltd cooperates with our customer to develop a self bilateral manipulator system to help patients during their rehabilitating process. By using state of the art technology, the system can real-time captures the position of patient’s healthy arm and send the position information to the motors on the other side to assist the affected arm to move to the same position and achieve the same movement.

The system has bilateral mode and training mode. In bilateral mode, the system will help patients to rehabilitate their affected arm by imitating the action of other healthy arm. In training mode, the system will play back a whole rehabilitating process. User can define different training process for different patient. We also reserved the signal interface for the further system integration with 3D on-line game. So that the rehabilitation can be easier for patients, and doctors also can get more data and information for their diagnosis of patient’s recovering status.
