With the popularity of GPS products, there is a huge demand of GPS product testing. However, most commercial GPS satellite signal simulators only can simulate one satellite signal. This is very inconvenient for the GPS product test. Due to one satellite signal simulator only can verity the power level and CNR ratio of GPS receiver, but cannot verify if the GPS receiver can detect the correct coordinates. Those GPS factories need to bring there product onside, so that the product can acquire the real satellites signal to complete the function test, which is extremely inconvenient for them.
We spent 5 month on studying the complicated GPS Satellite NAV Data format, and generate the signal of multiple satellites successfully by using NI PXI RFSG. It lowers the customer testing cost to 1/6 of the high-end satellite signal simulator, and increases the productivity and product reliability dramatically. |
